Everyone is welcome to attend ATOS monthly meetings. This is when the planning happens for new trails, maintenance of extisting trails, protection of the riverine corridor and preservation of open spaces.

A fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Opening ceremonies are at 6 pm followed by the survivor lap honoring those who have or are still battling cancer. The event continues all night filled with entertainment and activities.

This event is co-hosted by Fort Lewis College and Aztec Trails & Open Space. For those not familiar with Cyclocross, this is a great spectator sport. The races will be done in laps around the park and will include portions of the BMX track, developed trail segments and sections of obstacles for the racers to carry their bicycles through. Come to race! Come to watch!

Earth Day Celebration - April, 2012

The goals of the National Park Service and the Monument are to use Earth Day as a catalyst for communicating the relationships of reciprocity that connect us all: landscape, natural & cultural environments, and community. We will bring the event to life with speakers, environmental activities, cultural demonstrators, and presenter displays.
This event illustrates how each of us impacts the Earth and allows for sharing stewardship responsibilities with our community and protecting our resources.
Leading the planning and implementation of this year’s Earth Day Celebration will be Tracy Bodnar, Marti Stebbins and the Interpretive staff. If you have additional questions contact, Marti Stebbins, 505/334/6174 ext. 228.
