Townsend Wilderness Park

This photo was take in May of 2006 before invasive plant species removal was begun. The property is roughly 42 acres.
 
 
Martinez Lane Invasives Clean Up

While this area at the end of Martinez Lane is not being developed and is currently not a top priority; when possible, invasive species clean up is squeezed in.

 

On the left, individuals are chipping Russian Olive and Salt Cedar for use as walking surfaces on the various trails being developed throughout the City. On the right you can see other equipment used to remove invasives trees by pulling them out of hte ground, roots and all.
